Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Yes! Oppa at yesoppa.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Yes! Oppa connects travelers with local crews and hosts worldwide for cultural, social, and travel experiences. We facilitate introductions and conversations; we are not involved in any agreements made between you and a crew member. Yes! Oppa is not a dating, escort, or companionship service, and any use of the Service for those purposes is prohibited under Section 4.

3. Account

You sign in with a third-party identity provider (Google). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to circumvent, probe, or attack security measures; sending unsolicited advertising messages; or using the Service for unlawful purposes.

5. Payments, cancellations and refunds

Paid crew experiences are prepaid through PayPal once the date and details are confirmed in the chat. If you cancel, the following rules apply based on the time remaining before your booked day:

• 2 weeks or more before your booked day: full refund.
• Between 1 and 2 weeks before: 50% refund.
• Less than 1 week before: no refund.
• Once your booking is confirmed, about 20% of the payment is non-refundable. At confirmation we assign a Crew member, hold your date, and open the group chat to answer your questions before the day. That work is already done, and the date we held for you is closed to other bookings.
• PayPal fees are borne by the customer: the processing fee on your payment and the fee on the refund itself are deducted from the amount returned to you.

Note: the refund rates above apply to the amount left after this 20% is excluded.

If a Hangout ends after 11 pm, the Crew's travel cost to get home is added. The amount is based on the actual fare, and we tell you the figure when we confirm your booking, so it is included in what you pay.

If extending the day pushes the end time past 11 pm, we include the travel cost in the figure we give you when we confirm the extra time.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or fitness of the Service for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yes! Oppa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

Contacting or meeting a Crew member personally, without going through Yes! Oppa, is not a service provided by Yes! Oppa, and Yes! Oppa is not liable for any accident, dispute, or loss arising from such contact or meeting. This does not apply where Yes! Oppa has acted with wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Community guidelines

To keep Yes! Oppa a safe, social travel space for everyone, all travelers and crew members agree to the following rules. Violations may lead to immediate suspension of the account involved.

1. Public-place meetings only. First-time meetings between a traveler and a crew member must take place in a public venue, such as a café, restaurant, tourist site, or other openly accessible space.
2. No meetings in private lodging. Hotels, guesthouses, short-term rentals, and other private accommodations are not appropriate meeting locations.
3. No sexual, romantic, or financial demands. Yes! Oppa is not a dating, escort, or companionship service. Soliciting or offering sexual services, romantic relationships, or money in exchange for personal favors is prohibited.
4. Adult travelers only. The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. Accounts found to belong to minors will be removed.
5. Reporting and enforcement. If you experience or witness behavior that violates these guidelines, report it to moon@yesoppa.com. Reports are reviewed and, if a violation is confirmed, the offending account is suspended or removed.
